Potatoe bake (Babka ziemniaczana)Potato bake is a very simple dish of Belarusian origin. In Poland it is usually served in eastern regions such as Podlasie. We had the opportunity to taste this specialty during our trip to Bialowieza. It can be served with sour cream or any kind of sauce you like. It tastes good both hot and cold, but also fried the next day in a frying pan.Thai Satay Chicken with Peanut SauceThis is a dish that you can find on every corner of the street in Thailand. It doesn't need to be chicken, can be also pork or beef. Creamy peanut sauce makes a perfect combination of flavours. One of our favourites nonetheless. Vietnamese Sticky Lemongrass PorkSweet caramelized with a hint of lemongrass pork makes the meat taste extra special. Very fragrant and tasty dish. Unique way to serve mince meat. Enjoy.Sausages, Mash and Red Onion GravyIt's a classic British dish that we really love plus it's easy to prepare. What not to like it about it? It requires onion marmalade for a better taste. I used cumberland sausages but any other kind that you like will be just fine.Bo Ne – Vietnamese BreakfastI would say Bo Ne is a Vietnamese version of "English breakfast" : fat and yummy. It's normally served on a scorching hot steel pan/dish. Egg, thin-cut beef, onion and a lot of butter or other fat and baguette - absolutely perfect breakfast.Pho SoupEver since we tried this soup in Vietnam we wanted to make it at home. It's one of the best soups we've tried during our trips so far. It's usually served with very thinly sliced meat of your choice and a lot of fresh herbs. Nasi GorengOne of the most popular dishes in Malaysia. Very easy to prepare. We've tried Nasi Goreng in England but to our surprise the taste was completely different than here in Malaysia. Nasi Goreng is simply rice fried with some kind of meat or fish and vegetables and usually with a fried egg on top.Mango Sticky RiceIt's an iconic Thai dish. You can get it nearly everywhere in Thailand. In theory it's a dessert but it's very filling so it can be easily treated as a main dish. We fallen in love with it and started to not only buy it every time we're in Thailand but also making it ourselves.Chinese sesame chickenMuch easier to prepare than the ingredient list indicates. If you are a fan of Chinese food you will love this dish. No more ordering chicken from chinese restaurants! Now you know how to make it yourself. Serve with jasmine rice.Murgh Makhani – Butter chickenMurgh makhani known also as butter chicken is a mild curry for a whole family. Chicken donburi is a delicious and colorful dish all family will love.Thai Coconut Chicken SoupThis soup is based on the coconut thai soup concept, but the recipe uses ingredients that you’ll be able to find more easily in a typical supermarket. It is a subtle mixture of spices. Depending on how you feel about spicy food you can add jalapeño pepper to it or leave it without like in this recipe.Shrimp RamenVery easy and tasty ramen. Ramen is a traditional Japanese noodle soup served with meat or seafood, broth and range of toppings. This is my favourite recipe.Green Papaya Salad (Som Tum)It's a spicy but also refreshing salad that I absolutely love. When in Thailand make sure you tell your waiter you don't want it spicy. It will still be spicy for most people, but Thai serves it even more spicy for locals. When making at home obviously you can choose how much spicy ingredients you add to it.
