Change of scenery
At the end of the year covid situation in Vietnam looked like it has never happened, Europe started rolling out the vaccination campaigns so we thought it's about time to start planning our next trip. We thought at the beginning of the 2021 year all countries would start to open up again and we can finally go back to our…

Typhoon and storm season
Vietnam due to its' location faces tropical storms and typhoons every year. For us, it's a completely new experience so we didn't know what to expect. For some time now temperatures were much lower and it rained a bit nearly every day. It was like a prelude to what was coming. The first time we saw tropical storm warning in…

Digital nomad lifestyle on social media and reality
It has never been easier to travel full time and work at the same time. Many people already do it. Many want to, but they're still uncertain how to do it and if they want to risk their full time office job. Social media are full of amazing images people with laptops on a tropical beach or other stunning location.…

Weird experiences in Phnom Penh Cambodia
We decided to travel to Phnom Penh by bus from Ho Chi Minh because it was dirty cheap, the bus pick up point was just the corner from our place and the travel time wasn't that bad for our taste. At least that's what we thought when we bought tickets. The bus wasn't at all what we expected though. It…

Series of unfortunate events in Vietnam
Our trip to Vietnam didn’t start well. We were so excited to go there we couldn’t sleep the night before. We arrived very sleep deprived and extremely tired. When we got to our Airbnb location, we couldn’t find the place because the building was brand new and there were no numbers or whatsoever there.

Bali, paradise with ants
Our adventure in Bali didn't start too well. Our host was supposed to pick us up from the airport. The problem was we didn't know how he looks like, he didn't know how we look like. He did have a card with my name on it, but we later found out it was written with a really thin red pen…

Is Kuala Lumpur worth visiting?
While Thailand looked like nothing we’ve ever seen before, Kuala Lumpur felt a bit more familiar in some ways and completely different in others. It’s undeniably a huge city with skyscrapers and fancy shopping malls and cars, but you can also find a lot of shacks made of corrugated steel plates and corroded and manually patched cars. After a month…

Scott’s Gardens KL airbnb
We stayed in Scott's Gardens apartment for a month. It is in a very good location between Twin Towers and Sunway Pyramid. Getting around the town was not a problem using Grab. Everywhere was relatively nearby. Location is one of the biggest positives of this place. Another huge one was the view! Amazing huge window with a view!

Kuala Lumpur – Arte+ Airbnb
After the adventures in Bangkok we were a little bit better prepared when we arrived to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. We bought our sim card at the airport, took some cash from ATM there and ordered Grab taxi instead of those waiting already at the airport. This part was surprisingly easy. Getting to our Airbnb not so much... again.
